This CEU approved course is intended to provide students with a general framework for planning and administering effective management strategies for the post-operative rehabilitation of patients with ACL reconstruction. Students will be educated on the various stages of rehabilitation following this procedure and their associated criteria for advancement, spanning from the early post-operative period, all the way to final physician clearance and eventual return to sport. Students will be given examples of how to administer appropriate assessment batteries to ensure readiness for advancement throughout specific stages of rehabilitation. Students will also be provided with examples of graduated programming for jogging and sprinting, as well as plyometric and agility training activities.

This CEU approved course provides students with focused instruction for selected PNF movement techniques and patterns of facilitation, which can be implemented as treatment strategies for managing various orthopedic and sport injuries and/or dysfunction.
